Packaging and Giftwrap
We have put a lot of thought into how we package our jewellery and strive for sustainable, waste-reducing and beautiful packaging that is ready for gifting. Our paper jewelry boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard boxes (made with 90% post-consumer fiber and 10% pre-consumer fiber), covered with recycled paper (30% post-consumer fiber). Our beautiful cloth-lined boxes for our karat gold collection are made to last through the lifetime of these heirloom pieces. We ship in mailers that are 100% compostable, made from cornstarch and cassava roots (Exceptions: DHL Express packages are shipped in DHL Express mailers, and local Singapore couriered mail are shipped in lightweight cardboard boxes). To protect jewellery during jostling, we pad with either lightweight tissue, scrap paper or left-over bubble wrap (it may not be the prettiest but we try to minimise waste by recycling these clean padding materials; thank you for your understanding!).
Return Policy
pequitobun stands behind the quality of our handmade items, and if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your item, mentioning your order number and the items you would like to return. We would be happy to offer you a full refund minus shipping costs. Returned items must be in their original unworn condition.
Please contact us before sending your return package to help us more efficiently process your return. The buyer is responsible for return shipping fees and for packaging the item securely in a padded box. We recommend delivery confirmation and/or insured mail for shipping your returns.
Repairs
Every piece on pequitobun is handmade with the greatest care, and we hope that they will last you a lifetime. However, vintage materials are aged, and perhaps you have a cute nephew who loves grabbing at necklaces...! If your jewelry piece requires repair, do contact us and we will do our best to make everything right again. If you have all the parts, repair is generally free. If parts are broken or missing, we can still find a way to repair them as closely to the original as possible, for minimum cost. The buyer will pay for repair return delivery costs, which will be as shipping costs above. Shop with peace of mind because we stand behind every piece of jewelry we sell, as we have since 2006.
